The sign was posted to promote good sportsmanship. Give "put ups" instead of "put downs" because you don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. I can show good sportsmanship at CCS by cheering for my friends for trying, even if they mess up.

I think this sign was posted because people should remember to be positive when a little guy is playing baseball or any sport. When I play sports I should remember to be fair, strive to win, but win or loose I will always do my best. At school I can show good sportsmanship by cheering for my team and people who have never played before. I should also be respectful when it's the other teams turn to play.

I think the sign was posted to make the baseball players try their best. I learned that even though some mistakes might drag their team down, give them a break, because it's just a game. I would cheer the team even though they lose, and I would be positive even though I lost the game.

I think the sign was posted to tell people to demonstrate good sportmanship and cheer for people whether they help to win or lose the game. Also, if anyone gets teased like that, they would feel bad and discouraged. I learned from this sign that a game is supposed to be fun, and winning is not the most important thing. Being part of a team and trying your best is more important. I also learned that good sportsmanship can help someone become a better person. At CCS, I can cheer people on and tell students that it is okay if they don't do something well or make a mistake. I can help them feel better.

I think the sign was posted because the little boy got strucked out and that's probabley why the crowd groaned. The idea for the sign is: NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS IN THE GAME, YOU SHOULD SUPPORT YOUR TEAMATES AND TEAM. What I can do at CCS to do GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP: in P.E, when we are shooting hoops in basketball, I will pass on the ball.

I think this sign was posted because it was for kids my age not to feel horrible. This is to let everyone know that we are kids, not professionals. I can learn that it's not the end of the world if you lose a close and competitive game. I can show sportsmanship at school by not making fun of my classmates when we lose a kickball game. At the end of the day, we all play just to have fun.

The sign was posted so everyone could observe good sportsmanship. People sometimes forget that the players are actually kids. I try to show good sportsmanship by not being to hard on my fellow classmates when the mess up playing a sport. These practices will help me grow up to be a caring and understanding man!

I think this sign was posted because people were being rude and not supporting each other. I learned to cheer on people no matter if they win or not. I can keep a positive attitude and be a good example. At school I can also help someone when they fall down and I can take them to the office to get an ice pack or band aid.

The poem means that he is not a man yet so you should just be nice and to be happy that he tried. And not to say stuff like "Strike out the bum." That is showing bad sportsmanship.they should have said try again! or, I bet you can make a home run this time!

This sign was posted to remind everyone that is watching the game to also have good sportsmanship. Parents need to set an example how to act during games. We know kids are more sensitive then grown ups and should be treated fairly. At CCS I can show good sportsmanship by not getting upset when I lose a game.

The sign is probably posted there to tell the crowd that they should support all the kids, even the kids on the benches, because they are all doing their best. If they say " Boo" to them, they will probably quit. The sign shows you what will happen if you don't have good sportsmanship. At CCS, I can have good sportsmanship by cheering on my team and the other team.

I think it was put there because someone saw a kid that got out in a baseball game and everyone started booing him even though he tried his best! I learned that you can't tell a boy/girl that they did something wrong in a sport. I also learned that you must ALWAYS to cheer on your teamates no matter what! I can show what I can do at school time for sportsmanship by making them feel good about them selfves.

I think the sign was posted so people can be positive under any circumstance especially with young kids. I learned that it will hurt somebody's feelings if you said bad things to and about them and it will take out the fun of what they're doing. I can cheer on my classmates. I can be happy when I win but I won't make fun of people when they lose.
